1. About The Galpals Collective
The Galpals Collective is a five-storey, female-only wellness and lifestyle facility offering:

• Meditation space
   

• Self-massage chair room (25 minutes per session)
   

• Community lounge (used for workshops and events)
   

• Fitness suites
   

• Office workspace (co-working area)
   

• Treatment room for holistic therapies (booked separately)
   

• A creche (not currently operational)
   

 
2. Membership
2.1 Full membership information is published at: www.thegalpalscollective.com/membership. These details are considered part of these Terms.
2.2 Membership grants access to:

• Meditation space
   

• Self-massage chair (one 25-minute session per day)
   

• Community lounge (including most workshops/events)
   

• Fitness suites
   

• Office workspace (see clause 2.5)
   

• Priority access to new services (e.g. creche upon launch)
   

2.3 Holistic treatments (e.g. massage) are not included in membership. These services are booked and paid for separately.
2.4 Memberships are personal and non-transferable. Sharing membership benefits, access codes or identity is strictly prohibited.
2.5 The office workspace is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Members may book online for free to secure a guaranteed time slot. All use is subject to fair use and shared space etiquette.
2.6 Members are provided with a unique door code. This code is confidential and must not be shared. Sharing this code may result in immediate termination of your membership with no refund.
2.7 Memberships are billed according to your selected plan. Refunds are not issued for unused time or early cancellations unless otherwise required by Isle of Man law.
2.8 Membership may be paused by members with at least 30 days’ written notice. Pausing is subject to the discretion and approval of The Galpals Collective Limited.
2.9 The Galpals Collective reserves the right to refuse or limit membership pauses based on operational requirements or other reasonable grounds.
2.10 During a pause, membership benefits and access will be suspended and billing will be temporarily halted until reactivation.
 
3. Treatments and Bookable Services
3.1 Treatments (e.g. massage, holistic therapies) are available to both members and non-members and are not included in membership fees.
3.2 A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid prior to or at the time of your session.
3.3 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings at our discretion, particularly where safety, health or policy violations are concerned.
 
4. Cancellations and No-Shows
4.1 You must give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a booked treatment or session.
4.2 Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, will result in the loss of your deposit. No exceptions.
4.3 With adequate notice, we may reschedule or refund the deposit at our discretion.
4.4 Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in restricted access to future bookings or services.
 
5. Events and Workshops
5.1 We host a wide range of workshops and events. Most are included in your membership, but some will incur additional fees. These will always be clearly stated in advance.
5.2 Non-members may attend selected events where space is available and subject to the advertised fee.
5.3 Events may have their own cancellation or attendance terms depending on the nature of the session.
 
6. Creche Facility
6.1 The creche is not currently open. No childcare is provided at this time.
6.2 When the creche is launched, existing members will receive priority access to upgrade to plans that include creche services.
 
7. Gift Vouchers
7.1 Gift vouchers are valid for six (6) months from the date of issue. Expired vouchers cannot be redeemed.
7.2 Vouchers may be used for products and services only. They cannot be applied to membership fees.
7.3 Vouchers are non-transferable and non-refundable unless required by law.
 
8. Discounts
8.1 Discounts, offers, and promotional pricing apply only to services and products offered directly by The Galpals Collective.
8.2 Discounts do not apply to membership plans unless explicitly stated in the promotional terms.
 
9. Female-Only Policy
9.1 The Galpals Collective is a female-only space. Access is restricted to individuals who identify as female.
9.2 We reserve the right to request confirmation of gender identity in order to uphold this policy respectfully.
9.3 Any harassment, discrimination, or behaviour that compromises the safety or comfort of other members or staff will result in immediate expulsion.
 
10. Use of Facilities
10.1 You must use the facilities respectfully and safely, and in accordance with any posted signs or staff instructions.
10.2 Self-massage chair use is limited to one 25-minute session per day per member.
10.3 Office workspace may be used on a first-come basis or pre-booked online. Bookings are free and subject to fair use.
10.4 You are responsible for your own belongings. We are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
10.5 Members may not use the facilities for business purposes unrelated to wellness without written consent.
10.6 You must complete the required Health & Wellness Questionnaire before using the fitness suites or receiving any treatments. Use without a completed declaration is not permitted under any circumstance.
 
11. Behaviour and Conduct
11.1 You must behave in a respectful, safe and considerate manner at all times.
11.2 Aggressive, discriminatory, or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated.
11.3 We reserve the right to revoke access, cancel bookings or terminate your membership without refund for any breach of these Terms.
 
12. Health and Wellness Declarations
12.1 Before using our fitness facilities, participating in any physical class, or receiving any holistic treatment, you must complete our Health & Wellness Questionnaire.
12.2 By completing the form, you confirm that:

• You are physically and mentally fit to take part
   

• You have disclosed all relevant health conditions
   

• You understand that our services are not medical advice
   

• You agree to inform us of any health changes
   

12.3 Failure to complete this declaration will result in denied access to those services.
12.4 We may refuse services if we believe proceeding may compromise your health or safety.
12.5 All health information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
 
13. Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability
13.1 You acknowledge that use of our facilities and participation in our services involves inherent risk. You do so entirely at your own risk.
13.2 We are not liable for any injury, loss or damage unless directly caused by our proven negligence or breach of legal duty.
13.3 You agree to release The Galpals Collective Limited, its staff, and contractors from any liability for injury, illness, or damage incurred while on the premises or using our services, to the extent permitted by law.
13.4 We recommend that you seek medical clearance before using our fitness or treatment services if you have any concerns.
 
14. Data Protection and Privacy
14.1 We collect and process personal data in line with the Isle of Man’s data protection legislation.

15. Changes to Terms
15.1 We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. The most up-to-date version will always be available on our website and displayed in the facility.
15.2 Your continued use of the facility after any change is deemed acceptance of the updated Terms.
 
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
16.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Isle of Man.
16.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Isle of Man courts.
